Transcript Evaluation (Submitting Transcripts to Cascadia College)

Credits earned at colleges or universities that are recognized by a regional accreditation association or Ministry of Education are accepted for evaluation to transfer to your degree or certificate at Cascadia. No more than 5 credits of "D" level work will be accepted. Official transcripts are reviewed and credits transferred after you have registered for classes for your first quarter. Evaluations are completed in the order in which official transcripts and the Evaluation Request form are received.

Complete the Transcript Evaluation Request Form and send your previous college and university official transcripts. Official transcripts can be submitted electronically directly from your previous institution or mailed to:

Cascadia College
Attn: Enrollment Services
18345 Campus Way NE
Bothell, WA 98011

If you have earned a four-year degree, you are not required to submit official transcripts unless credits will be used towards a degree or certificate at Cascadia. Unofficial transcripts may be required to provide evidence of placement level before registering for English or math courses or for courses with a prerequisite of English or math.

Transcript Order

Official Transcripts

All official transcripts are imprinted with Cascadia College’s official seal, signed by the Registrar, and sealed in an envelope. Order your official Cascadia transcript online 24/7 through the National Student Clearinghouse.

A $5.00 transcript fee plus an additional $2.90 processing fee ($7.90 per transcript) is added.

FAQs

Can Cascadia College send Official Transcripts electronically? Yes. If the receiving institution is a Washington state public college or university (e.g. UW Bothell), all transcripts will be sent electronically - despite the National Student Clearinghouse only providing a physical mail option. The UW Seattle and UW Bothell only requires electronic copies of official transcript (not mailed official transcript). Note: If you are sending the transcript electronically, when ordering the transcript, you will be required to enter the recipient's email address in the "Delivery Information" section on the National Student Clearinghouse website.

How does Cascadia College deliver printed Official Transcripts? All printed Official Transcripts are delivered via USPS First Class Ground Mail to their intended recipient(s). Outgoing mail is picked up daily Monday through Friday. Cascadia College is unable to track mailed transcripts, as such please connect with your intended receipients(s) for any delivery updates.

Can I request multiple copies of my Official Transcript in a single request? Yes. However, multiple copies placed in one order can only be delivered to one recipient. You will need to place one order for every intended recipient.

Can I have an Official Transcript sent to my email address? We recommend you view your unofficial Cascadia College transcript if you want a copy of your courses/grades for non-official purposes.

Can I request an Official Transcript if I do not remember my Student Identification Number? Yes. When submitting your request, you may enter either your Student Identification Number or your Social Security Number.

What is the average delivery time? There are several factors to take into consideration, including but not limited to, geographic region of recipient, inclement weather, school closures, delays with mailing services, etc. These are approximate delivery timeframes:

Unofficial Transcripts

View and print your unofficial Cascadia transcript through your ctcLink account. If you have any issues or questions, please email enrollment@cascadia.edu.

Note: Former students who attended or graduated prior to Spring 2020 will need to set up a ctcLink account to access unofficial transcripts. Cascadia College now uses a new system for student self-service or new student online system, called ctcLink. As part of this process, all students including former students will be assigned a new ctcLink student ID and login password through the ctcLink system. Learn more and activate your new ctcLink account.
