Space engine vr manual

Indeed, I own myself a VR smartphone headset but I was frustrated at the thought of not being able to play it in virtual reality.

Fortunately, I have found a solution that I would like to share with you. This will allow anyone to have access to the VR for a very low budget. As VR PC headsets may not be accessible to everyone, here you will only have to buy the VR headset, which is not very expensive and the license of the software that will be used ($6.77)
The software that allows such a feat is Trinus. This software allows compatibility with Steam VR or no-VR games and allows you to stream content directly to the smartphone.

First, you must install all the necessary software: the Trinus application [play.google.com] and its software to install on your PC. Allow on the Trinus Website [www.trinusvirtualreality.com] .

• Set Head mount to "Default_Any"
  
• Set Image Scale to "Ultra" for 1080p, "Normal" for 720p or "Low" for 480p
  
• Set Capture Mode to "SteamVR"

• Install the SteamVR driver
  
• Define a key for the Reset Position in case of.

• Define a key for the Reset Position in case of.

• Activate the air plane mode if you use a USB connection to connect your phone to your computer.
  
• Then activate the "USB tethering" in your parameters.
  
• Then launch the application and wait for a connection to your computer (be sure if your USB rope is connected correctly). Then click on the start button on the phone.

Then launch Trinus on the software when you see this message at the bottom of the window.

After the first phase, you can start SteamVR. It should in theory detect your phone as a VR headset.
Then execute the Room Setup to configure your VR headset (follow the instructions).

Perfect ! You are ready to launch any Steam games compatible with VR. Now just launch Space Engine in VR mode and enjoy !
